Hardened, heat-treated microvascular scissors in titanium — available in straight (adventitia) and curved (dissecting) patterns, in Micro and Supermicro sizes — with sharpness retention superior to standard instruments and fatigue-free handling in long procedures.
Vessel dissection, perforator isolation — blunt tip prevents vessel perforation
Why titanium scissors
40–45% lighter than stainless steel — less fatigue in long reconstructive procedures and fine dissection
Hardened and heat-treated — superior sharpness retention vs standard instruments
Non-magnetising — no suture-needle interaction problems
Rust-free — maintains edge quality after repeated autoclave cycles
Note on titanium scissors
Titanium scissors can become blunt more quickly than SS scissors with heavy use. For surgeons who perform frequent adventectomy (high-volume scissor use), the Stainless Steel scissors may offer better long-term sharpness retention. Our product team can advise on scissor selection based on your case mix.
